In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret sect.
The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Content
Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
